Short version: it's a party game, free during the beta, with no accounts. Be kind, don't abuse it, and export anything you want to keep.

What FamParty is

FamParty is currently a free beta, provided as is. It may change, break, or stop at any time. There are no accounts and no payments today. We may add paid features later, and we'll show any price clearly before anyone is charged.

Who can use it

Hosts must be adults. Children may only play with a parent or guardian in the room.

Your content

You're responsible for what you type: names, statements, answers and stories. Don't post anything illegal, hateful, or sexual, and don't share private details about someone else without their consent. Hosts can hide any player's words from the TV or remove them from the room at any time.

Don't abuse the service

Don't scrape, overload, or try to get around rate limits or room codes, and don't use FamParty to bother people.

Rooms and availability

Rooms are temporary: they expire after about 2 hours, and scores and statements go with them. We don't guarantee the service will always be available.

Game content

Game questions and prompts in the current build were generated offline with Muse Spark 1.3 (text) and Muse Image 1.0 (title-card art), then edited with Muse in OpenCode, and reviewed by Lloyd. It is not verbatim model output, and it was not tested with real people. Third-party material (fonts, the word list) is credited in our third-party notices.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Hilly Shore Inc. isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date will change when we do, and continuing to play means accepting the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of California, United States.
